Looking To Be Another Long Day

The last time the doctor checked, Beth was still at 5 centimeters, but the baby was a little further down.  They have put her on Pitocin and given her an epidural, so she is confined to the bed from here on out.  Her blood pressure dropped quite a bit when they first gave her the epidural, but everything has leveled out, she has gotten some rest, and is feeling much better now.  The doctor broke her water earlier this morning, so we are definitely having the baby within the next 24 hours one way or another.

We have quite a crew here, Beth's parents, my parents, and two of her friends, Jenni and Krystle.  Krystle's four month old daughter Katelyn is here to meet her new destined-to-be best friend as well.

It looks to be a another long day, but praise God it will be the last long day that Beth will be pregnant, at least for a while.  We ask that you keep praying for Beth and the baby and we will keep you updated.

P.S.
Here's hoping that she's born before midnight, because 6-8-10 is a pretty cool birth date. (I know, I know, I'm a nerd)
