We're Having a Baby!!!!

Beth was scheduled to have an appointment with her doctor today at 10:45 am, but our little girl had other plans. Soon after we went to bed at about 11:00, Beth began having more contractions that were more intense than before. We tried a few things at home to make them ease up, but they wouldn't stop, so we came to the hospital. The nurse seemed a little skeptical given the fact that Beth had not dilated before, but when they checked this morning she was at 5 centimeters. We're halfway there!

Beth is far enough along and dilated enough to have the baby today, so WE'RE HAVING A BABY!!! Beth says that we have to wait to announce the name until we see her and make sure it fits, but all of you who have been waiting patiently (and not so patiently) will find out as soon as she is born. We will post here and probably on Facebook when she is born and give all the statistics. We covet your prayers for Beth and the baby both.
